Article by Ravi Kumar

Are you feeling overwhelmed with the different self improvement ideas? Where do you start to create a better you?The best answers come from within yourself. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and listen to your body, mind and spirit tell you what improvements need to be made in your life. If you still feel cluttered then here are a few things to think about.

Are you happy with your body? This doesn’t mean are you fat or skinny. There are lots of skinny people out there that aren’t happy. Is your body at it’s top performance output? Can you do all of the things you want to do without physical problems? These are questions you should ask yourself when considering self improvement.

Do you feel happy with your career path? Is this the job you want to be at the rest of your life or is there something else that lights the passion in you? Being unhappy at work can bring unhappiness into the rest of your life. So discover what improvements can be made that will fuel your passion.

Is your spiritual life all that it can be? Do you have the connection that you want? It’s time to reconnect to this part of your life. Spend at least 10 minutes a day in quiet reflection and meditation or Bible study and connect with your spiritual side.

Ask yourself if you are happy with your financial situation. What are your goals when it comes to finances? Look at where you spend your money and figure out if your spending habits are in alignment with how you want your finances to be.

Look at the relationships you have with those around you. Do you show those you love that you love them everyday or are you letting the hours and days slip by in the daily grind that we call life? Life is not about how many activities we can squeeze into the hours we have. It’s about how to squeeze all of the life and happiness we can out of each and every day.

All of these things reflect on living your life with purpose. If any one of the previous situations is not making you happy or not where it needs to be then you are not your best self. This means that it’s time to create a list of your dream life and set some goals in order to create the best you and your best life.
